Q. Cleo online vs offline?

What is the difference between the online version of the Cleopatra slot and the one you find in land casinos? I can never win in Vegas but online I seem to get a bit more bang for the buck.
Are the payout percentages different?

Actually that's not always true. I played it at the Empire, Leicester Square and it paid on 2 scatters, although not 2 9's. My guess is symbol pays vary according to the setting of the machine.
By the by, one of the versions of Cleo at the Empire was a Fort Knox (random jackpot) version. Not seen Cleopatra in that format before.
If a question was asked "anonymously", or in the event that a best response has not been selected by the originator, the response with the highest rating assumes that position until such a time as a response is selected.

The main difference I have seen is on the payouts for 2 of a kind. In the online version you get a reward for 2x9's and 2 scatters while the one I played at Ladbrokes Paddington casino recently didn't pay on either. This makes the biggest diference in the free spins.
The online version has an ER of over 95% but I'd guess the land-based versions are in the 80's.

I just played it in Rendezvous at Brighton and there are two versions. the sitdown one was like the one mentioned for Ladbrokes (above) and the stand-up one was like the Empire one. Suggest that's the difference.

There's also a multi-play version of Cleo that I recently played at Encore in Vegas. Basically you can play 1-4 games simultaneosuly but the max bet is $1.25 per game. Additionally, each game has a progressive jackpot that you can win during the free spins, typically $50 - $350. ottoo difficult to win either - I won 4, two of which were in the same free spins session lol.
