Q. IGT, Cleopatra and Americans?!

Now that Virgin and Paddy Power have blocked us Americans from even playing Cleopatra and Wolf Run for free (!!!), how or where are we supposed to play it online?

Unfortunately IGT own Wagerworks and they took the decision to ban the US from freeplay after the UIGEA debarcle because it added unwanted load to the game servers fom a country they are not allowed to accept for real play, so Virgin and Paddypower had no choice.
There is one version of Cleo (see below) which is a standalone game and appears unaffected - for now at least - but pretty much all the other IGT games are blocked for US IP addresses. Some bright spark may find a way round it using an anonymous proxy server, but I've not found any that will do this and the Wagerworks games are on a secure server too.
Try http://www.onlinecasinosvegas.com/cleopatra.php - I can't double-check from here but last I heard, Americans could play it too.
If a question was asked "anonymously", or in the event that a best response has not been selected by the originator, the response with the highest rating assumes that position until such a time as a response is selected.

Confirmed! The above link for IGT Cleopatra does work for Americans. Only in free-play mode though.
